Swiss pioneer

avocis TELAG was established in 1959 as the first European provider of a telephone answering service. This was followed in 1979 by the setting up of a paging network for Switzerland. The call centre was computerised in 1985. avocis TELAG was one of the first companies in Europe to work with an ACD telephony system and integrated CTI technology.



Continuous expansion of services

From 1987, our range of services was extended to include inbound telemarketing, database management, lettershop and fulfilment. At the same time as introducing premium telephone numbers, in 1991 avocis TELAG launched its audiotex services in the entertainment sector and for promotional and advertising campaigns.

From 1996, various existing telemarketing companies were acquired or shareholdings purchased, to complete our range of services by being able to offer outbound telemarketing.

With the setting up in 1999 of the first teaching establishment for call centre operators, avocis TELAG also became involved in the training sector. 



Customer communications through all channels

In view of the growing importance of e-commerce, avocis TELAG sees its strategic role more and more as a customer contact centre. As part of its consistent policy of focussing on customer relationships, the company makes the first customer contacts on behalf of its clients - whatever the channel of communication may be.


avocis TELAG now has over 500 employees. As the first call centre in Switzerland, its consistently high standards of quality management have been recognised by certification.
